The green space in Florence Park and garden of Boboli Bardini
On the hills behind the Pitti Palace is the magnificent Boboli Gardens, one of the most beautiful in Italy. Began in the sixteenth century for Cosimo I de 'Medici and enriched by his successors, the garden is decorated with about 170 statues, as well as fountains, grottoes and beautiful plants.
Through a special move, then you enter the lovely garden Bardini, divided between the English woods and a farm hand. At the center of the garden is the magnificent baroque staircase lined with irises and roses, which leads to the Belvedere where you can enjoy stunning views over the city of Florence.
